Description
The novel is full of inspirational incidents
about a girl who is handicapped by blindness
and deafness in the early stages of her life. It is
the girl’s grit and determination that enable her
to win over her disabilities and set an example of
self-confidence and dedication in front of the
world.
The girl with the aid of her dedicated teacher,
Anne Sullivan, discovers the world through her
fingertips. She feels the beauties of Nature
without her eyes. She comes to realize the harsh
realities of life without the sense of hearing.

owing to her visual and hearing deformities. The
book in itself is an epitome of grit, courage,
determination, dedication, devotion, discipline,
perseverance, self-confidence and last but not
least, the power to live life to its fullest without
any repentance whatsoever.
