Description

A Christmas Carol opens with the protagonist, Ebenezer Scrooge, a stingy businessman as the meanest
miser in Victorian London, who thinks only of making money He overworks and underpay his humble
clerk. For him Christmas is; in his ow words, a humbug. This old bitter miser is haunted and
visited by the ghost of his dead business partner Jacob Marley. Then he was given a chance for
redemption when he is haunted’ by three ghosts on Christmas Eve.
